Betty made it home Tuesday evening. She is walking on her own and even got into the tall bed. Sharon got her King Fish for dinner, at her request, and she ate well.
She gets very tired quickly so she still request no visitors. We would also like to keep other germs away from the house.
Karson and Abbagail will be hosting a puppet show for her this afternoon, we can't wait to see the puppets they have made and hear the story.
Raymond made breakfast for Betty and she even made it to the table to eat with him. I think he is showing signs of those hidden cooking talents.
We thank all of you for caring so much and for your prayers.
So very happy to read that Betty made it home and I know she will be more content in her own home and has Raymond attending to her 24/7. Sounds like his cooking talents are going to get taken advantage of now. Go Raymond!
ReplyDeleteThank Sandy for posting the progress and how Betty is doing with each day. It has been so helpful for us friends to keep in touch. God Bless, and we hold you all up in prayers.
So happy to hear Betty is home. Hospital stays are boring and it is more relaxing at home with your familiar surroundings. Not to mention nurses coming in every few minutes to prod and poke. So that we know Raymond can cook.....he better watch out! We will put him in charage of the Ag Outlook Breakfast this month! I am so glad you set this up to keep everyone informed of the progress and not having to call Devona all the time. We continue to keep both of them in our prayers as the healing begins. If they need anything, please let us know. Jackie
ReplyDeleteGlad that Betty got to come home. I am sure that both of them are glad to be home as well as you kids are also. Please keep us posted on the happenings with her. I am sure that they enjoyed the puppet show--how sweet! Prayers to all of you!
ReplyDeleteWhat great Blessings! We are so happy and of course, people should not visit because Raymond, Betty or any of the rest of the family doesn't need germs that can cause lots of problems. Since everyone knows Raymond can cook, I am sure that relieves everyone on food for the family. Prayers continue - take care and rest -- all of you! Jeannie
