We are enjoying wonderful clam chowder and desserts from a generous niece. Betty has warned both Raymond and myself to leave the strawberries alone. We are obeying! Thank you for your wonderful cooking.
The doctor who will insert the stint has not contacted us yet. Dr. Martin's office checked on Betty and her GP also contacted her. She's in wonderful hands.
So I have to break the news to Raymond that he kind of made a mistake. If you know him, you'll know how well meaning his mistake was - but he is going to have to improve.
Betty had been up most of the night and had trouble keeping anything down all day. She was worn out and felt awful. Raymond tried to offer comfort, but it came out, "I'm so glad you had a good day!"
Betty felt so bad she couldn't interpret what he really meant. She thought he wasn't aware of her suffering. I wish she could see the sadness he feels at her suffering, but he tries to show support. He's up all night with her and then tries to think clearly. Sometimes he just can't.
He tries so hard to be thoughtful and caring. So I'm glad he can get out a little and clear his head. This is not a challenge for one. I am so proud of him.
We're tuned in to American Idol tonight. We're hoping for Golden Oldies. At least we know the words.
