Loved ones visited today. They are a comfort.
Raymond took a little drive and a little nap. He found no balls today.
You wouldn't believe the meat loaf that came today. Delicious!
When Dennis arrived this evening, Dad came alive. He sparkles when Dennis is around. I am so glad they have each other.
I hope he can get out tomorrow. I recently shared with a friend that we are going to have to let go a little at a time allowing him to function on his own, but perhaps we'll leave the training wheels on for a bit.
We'll see you this weekend.
The Boley Family
To my dear friend Raymond,
ReplyDeleteIn loosing also a mate in my life, the father of my daughter...I can feel your pain. Although, not near the years together as you and your beloved Betty. But, still I know some of your thoughts and questions.
Just wanted you to know, God will take care of you and your family and friends will be there when you need to draw from their strength also.
One day at a time, and we are just as close as a phone call at any time of the day or night.
God Be With You! Friend in Christ, Pat
So enjoyed the visit. It was good to sit and look at what Sandy is doing with the family geneology. Hopefully, we can put some insight into things whenever the Boley has time to rest and regroup after all the stressful times that has been in their lives. They were all things that they had to do and doing it they did with grace and dignity. I admire the closeness of all of them. If one couldn't accomplish a task another stepped in and took charge. Raymond is a trooper and I am sure that God will guide him in what is ahead for him. Love and prayers to all of the Boley family and we will be with you this week-end.
